Founded in Coventry by John Kemp Starley and William Sutton in 1878, Rover has become one of Britain’s most beloved car makers, building up a reputation for providing solid, reliable and luxurious runabouts and for one of the world’s most iconic engines (i.e: the Rover V8). Sadly however, the company went defunct in 2005, but will be remembered for their reputation for making “you know what”.
